It is with profound sadness we share the sudden passing of a legendary man. A life ended too soon, but one that left a profound impact on so many. Survived by his loving wife Nancy Kerr, and by his sisters Trish Hawkins, Deborah Walker and brother Charles Kerr. He will be terribly missed by his children, Jesse (Susan), Nicholas, Jamie (Liis), and Lauren (Jordan.) His laughter, life lessons, and love will be a great loss for his five grandchildren, Emma, Charlotte, Pearce, Ben and Alex.

Don was an amazing, loving, compassionate and patient man. He was a loyal, caring, and always supportive. He had a special talent for building long lasting deep relationships. He excelled in everything he did and had a long successful career at Dell, and was so excited about growing his new business Snap’d Barrie/Innisfil. Above everything he loved his family the most, and taking us on adventures. Skiing and golfing experiences fed his soul, and inspired his goals. He always encouraged other to push their comfort level in all aspects of life. His presence would be felt and heard in any room. He will be so deeply missed by so many and loved forever.

A visitation will be held in Celebration of Don’s life at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie) on Wednesday May 8th, 2019 visitation from 10-11a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers Don would’ve wanted charitable donations be made to The Women and Children’s shelter of Barrie, a cause dear to his big heart.
