Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 16th, 2019 at the age of 93 years.
Son of the late George and Eva. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (2012). Loving father of Mark (Lynn) and Tim (Diana). Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Russell, Herman, and Beatrice. David will be remembered for his guidance as a Minister of the Church of Christ, and his Rotarian contributions.
Friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Monday, May 20th, 2019 from 7-9 p.m., with service being held on Tuesday, May 21st at 11 a.m. in the Chapel, followed by a reception gathering in the Lounge, with interment at Barrie Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to Great Lakes Christian High School, Beamsville, Ont., or to the Barrie Church of Christ electronic outreach sign project.
