HUTCHINSON, Catherine (Katie)

It is with sadness we announce that Catherine (Katie) Agnes Hutchinson (nee Burnie), in her 84th year, played her last hand of cards on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017. Katie passed after a brief illness at Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of Amos (predeceased), adored mother of Dale (Tammy), and much loved and cherished grandmother of Zoe, step grandchildren, Nickolas Fletcher (Shelby) and Kayla Fletcher (Rogan). Sister of Gertrude Burnie (Yeb), Jerry Burnie, Father Jim Burnie, and Neil Burnie. Sister-in-law of Bill Hutchinson and the late Alvin Hutchinson. Predeceased by brother Lorne Burnie, sisters Margaret Burnie (Lahay), Mary Burnie (MacLennan), and Bernadine Burnie (Larmont). A celebration of Katie’s life with take place in the Spring, date to be announced.
