Passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on February 20th, 2019 at the age of 82. Loving husband of Henriette Hurley (nee Desrochers). Honoured father of Darrell (Pierrette), Nicole Bergeron (Jocelyn) and Charles (Shirley Chang). Cherished grandpapa to Alyssa, Jessie, Kyle, Cameron, Malek, Jayden and Tanis. Karl is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary (nee Redmond) and his brothers Darrell and Redmond. He is survived by his brother Allen.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 from 1 p.m. until the time we celebrate Karl’s life in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff and volunteers at Hospice Simcoe and have requested donations to the same in lieu of flowers
