(September 10, 1940 – February 07, 2019) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Diane, surrounded by her family, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, on Thursday February 7, 2019, in her 79th year. Beloved sweetheart, wife and soul mate of Geza for over 60 years. Always loved and cherished by her Daughter Cindy, Son Daryll and her Daughter in Law Arija. Proud Nanny of Jordan, Joshua and little fur baby Cody. Diane will be joining the rest of her family in heaven, including her parents Albert and Alice Robinson, and brothers Brian and Kenneth. Always loved and fondly remembered by her sisters in law Leona (Brian) Robinson, ILona (Greg) Asling and Elizabeth (Zoltan) Schiewerth. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. We would like to thank the ICU staff and Spiritual Supporters at RVH for all of their compassion and great care during this very difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., in Barrie on Tuesday February 19, 2019. Visitation will be from 12 pm until 2 pm, followed by a Service then Reception. If lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to the RVH Foundation and are greatly appreciated.
