Passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Wednesday December 23, 2015. Phyllis (Hendy) in her 87th yr. was the beloved wife of the late Milton (Bud) Hogeboom and the late Jim Childs. Dear mother of Joan Jones (Randy) of Minesing and Alan Childs (Cheryl) of Angus. Loving grandmother of Kathryn Jones (Jared), Allison Jones, Stephanie Childs, Michelle Childs, Amanda Childs (Andrew) and Nathan Childs (Alexandra). Great-grandmother of Aliya Childs (Chole & Paige). Also survived by her sister Joan Hodgins (Kenneth) of Ireland. Pre-deceased by brothers Herbert & Cyril. Friends may call at the Jennett Funeral & Cremation Centre 152 Bradford St. in Barrie on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Wednesday December 30th at 1:00 p.m. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery.
