Formerly from Orillia, suddenly and peacefully in her 87th year at Royal Victoria Hospital, June 6, 2016. Pre-deceased by her husband Arthur Edward (Ted) Heels. Loving Mother of Kathryn Heels of Midhurst and Gerry Heels and his wife Debbie of Innisfil and Gramma to Philippe Lafranchise of Barrie, Courtney Heels of Toronto and Kyle Heels of Orillia. Long-time member of the Rebekahs and Life Member of Lions Clubs International. Visitation at 7-9 p.m. Sunday, June 12th and funeral on Monday, June 13th 11:00 a.m. at the Jennett Funeral and Cremation Centre, 152 Bradford Street, Barrie. Reception at the funeral home following interment at Barrie Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
