Passed peacefully at Victoria Village on October 10th, 2019 at the age of 88.
Loving husband of Doris for 66 years. Honoured father of Randy and Greg (Sally). Cherished grandfather of Lindsey, Daniel and Lauren. Will be sadly missed by many life-long friends and colleagues in the Barrie area.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 from 11 a.m. until the time we celebrate John’s life in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the lounge before the family proceeds to Barrie Union Cemetery for the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
