Suddenly yet Peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto on July 29, 2017 at the age of 14. Beloved son of Gord and Jacquie. Dear brother of Christopher, Mathew, Jonathan, Sydney, Brittney, Hayden, Ireland, and Jordan. Blake will be sadly missed by many other dear family members and close friends. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Wednesday August 2, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of Blake’s life will take place the next day, Thursday, in the chapel of the funeral home starting at 12 pm. Visitation from 10 am. Burial will follow at Barrie Union Cemetery. Following the burial, a reception will take place at the funeral home.
