HAMMOND, Norma Gladys (nee Davis)

Safely home in the arms of the Lord on Saturday May 21, 2016 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald John Hammond. Forever remembered and loved by her daughter Patricia Anne Hammond and her husband Paul Wardlaw. Predeceased by her parents John Henry and Gladys Elizabeth Davis, and brothers Laurance and Wilfrid Davis. Sadly missed by other dear family members and friends. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie on Wednesday May 25, from 2 pm to 4 pm. A celebration of Norma's life will take place the following day at Ivy Presbyterian Church, 5067 20th Side Rd., Ivy, Ontario, starting at 2 pm. Visitation from 1 pm. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to take this opportunity to especially thank the staff at Roberta Place for all of their extraordinary care and concern for both Norma and her family during her stay.
