HALEY, Isobel

Peacefully at home on December 10, 2016 at the age of 79. Loving wife of the late Robert (2003). Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Eugenia Powell. Honoured mother of Leah, David (Brandie), Catherine Hurst (David) and Robert (Tina). Cherished grandmother of Matthew, David, Joshua, Austin, Jesica, Daniel, Gabriel and Edwin. Survived by her sister Phyllis Poole (Harry) and predeceased by brothers Edwin and Ronald. Will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and many life-long friends, both through her career as a nurse and through her passion as a singer in the Choir at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Barrie. Cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. A memorial service to celebrate Isobel’s life will be held on January 5, 2017 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 47 Owen St., Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations to the RVH Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
