Passed away peacefully at Mill Creek Care Centre on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in her 93rd year, after a life well lived. Beloved mother of Gale (Dan MacKinnon), Robert (Patty) and proud grandmother of Brook, Tori and Reed. Great grandmother of Colt Watson. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 7-9 pm and on Thursday, November 2 from 1 pm until the time we celebrate Viola’s life in the Chapel at 2 pm, followed by interment at Guthrie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations in memory of Vi can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
