(December 19, 1972 - October 15, 2018) - Passed away suddenly at home on Monday, October 15, 2018. Jerry Giffen at the age of 45, dear son of Warren and Patricia Giffen. Loving brother of Gail (Ben) Sampson, Barb (Phil) Canning, Dan (Sherry) Giffen and Phil (Leslie) Giffen. Proud uncle of Brian, Nancy, Nicole, David, Bridget, Travis, Amanda, Casandra, Sam, Rachel, Logan, Cameron and great uncle of Grace. Jerry will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Thursday from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 o’clock Friday, October 19th, 2018 with visitation from 12 p.m. Interment Minesing Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
