Peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday January 22, 2019 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Chrysoula for 43 years. Dear father of Gus, Cathy (Carlos) Cavalheiro, Foti, and Toula (Jason). Proud and loving papou of Trinity, Aris, Lila and Jase. Survived by his brother in Greece Nick (Stella) and his sisters Stella (Tom) Kiamos and Effie (Mario) Cambouris. Sadly missed by many other dear family members. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St. in Barrie on Sunday January 27, from 4 to 7 pm. Prayers at 6 pm. A funeral service will take place the following day Monday, January 28, at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 572 Penetanguishene Rd. in Barrie starting at 11 am. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
