GEORGE, Robert 'Bob'

Passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Monday, February 5th, 2018 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Dorothy (nee Dick, Hinton). Honoured father of Bill George (Debbie Black), Lorraine George and Maurine George (Steve Norton), and step-father of Dana Quinto (Joe), Nancy Smithson (Mark) and Angela Del Re (Tiago). Cherished grandfather of Drew (Erica), Carly (Ryan), Fraser and Willow, great grandfather to Ryker, Evie and Levi, and step-grandfather to Melissa, Danielle, Alexandra, Tyler and Adalyn. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 from 10 am until the time we celebrate Bob’s life in the Chapel at 12 pm. Following the service guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt thanks to staff of RVH ICU for their extraordinary care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
