GALLE, Brunina (Malvaso)

Passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, on Friday December 9, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Francesco. Loving mother of Cathy Figliuzzi (Cosmo), Carmela Trueman (Jim), Raffaela Galle and Sara Galle. Cherished Nonna of Francesca, Bruna (Adam) and Laura. Adored great-grandmother of Tristan. Dear sister of the late Vincenzo (late Rosaria), the late Natalina (late Pietro), Immacolata (late Luigi) and Domiano (late Teresa). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and life-long friends. A special thank you to the nurses at the Palliative Care Unit. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. McConvey for your care and compassion. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Sunday December 11, 2016, from 4 pm – 9 pm, with Funeral Mass being held at St. Mary’s Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie, on Tuesday, December 13 at 10 am. Following interment at St. Mary’s cemetery, guests are invited back to St. Mary’s Church for a reception luncheon. Donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Program.
