GAGNON, Grace Isabell June

On March 2, 2021, Grace Isabell June Gagnon (Nee Fadden) died Peacefully in her sleep at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario. She was 92 years old.
She was preceded in death by her Husband William Henry Gagnon siblings Hattie, Joy, Jean, Cresswell and James. She was preceded in death by her mother Harriet McDonald and her father Charles Fadden her parents. Hattie (Gus) Cake, Joy (Jack) Colwill (Susan Cade and John Cole), Jean (Arthur) Quarrington (Douglas and Anne Quarrington, Loraine and late Johnny Hayes)
Grace was born on December 26, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario. Grace married William Henry Gagnon on July 26, 1947. They met at her mother, Harriet McDonald’s boarding house in Toronto. They welcomed 5 children late Robert Gagnon in 1948, Brian Gagnon (Karen) in 1949, Barbara Fors (Dennis) in 1950, late Allan Gagnon (Gwen) in 1952, Wayne Gagnon (Madonna) in 1954.
Grace will be truly missed by Grand children Rob and Keith Gagnon (Brian and Pat Fortin (divorced)), Steven and Kevin Strong (Barbara Fors and Sheldon Strong (divorced)), Karen and Trevor Gagnon (Allan and Gwen Gagnon), Jason, Bridgette and late Miles Gagnon (Wayne and Madonna Gagnon) and Denise and Michelle (Brian and Karen Gagnon).
Great Grand Children Ashlee and Avery Strong (Kevin and Tanya Strong), Mark and Owen Strong (Steven and Pam Strong), Christopher, Chase and Camila (Jason Gagnon), Keagan (Cory and Bridgette Gagnon) Ayden and Chloe Luongo (Anthony and Michelle Luongo) , Adrian and Christian (Trevor Gagnon and Jasmine MacQueen).
Grace engaged in crafts, paper toll, knitting, embroidery, sewing and many other creative endeavors. She loved her church and her many church friends. She was a lifetime employee of T. Eaton Company and was rewarded a diamond ring for her years of service.

A memorial service for Grace Gagnon is to be held later at Heritage Baptist Church, 79 Ardagh Road, Barrie Ontario It will be immediately followed by a graveside burial ceremony at Queensvile Cemetery.
