Suddenly at home on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at the age of 71. Devoted husband of Margaret “Peggy”. Loving father of Timothy Forbes (Amy). Cherished grandfather of Kristopher, Katie, Danika, Jordan and great grandfather of Ava. Will be sadly missed by his brothers Jim, Walter and Gerry, sisters Gail, Wendy and Ginny, brother-in-law David King and by Maureen Forbes, who was like a daughter to him. A supportive boss, friend and father figure to all who were part of his family at Midhurst Roofing, Paul was well known as a generous, kind gentleman, a jokester and an amazing man who impacted all those around him. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Sunday, July 29th, 2018 from 7-9 pm, with funeral service on Monday, July 30th at 11 am in the Chapel, followed by a reception in the Lounge. Interment at Stayner Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family.
