FLEAR, Doug

Fought a long relentless battle with cancer. His journey here on earth has ended and he is now reunited with the love of his life to begin a new adventure in whatever lies beyond this life. Doug passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Tuesday November 22, 2016 in his 73rd year. Loving husband of the late Lynda Flear (Knisley) for nearly 50 yrs. Devoted Father of Dan (Tammy) Flear, and Tracie (David) Oksman. Proud Grandfather of Jesse and Ed Flear. Doug will live on in the hearts of his brothers & sisters Connie Morrow, Fred Flear, Ken Flear, Kim Allen, Peggy Jackson, and Tammy Cleary, along with his many nieces, nephews, in-laws and “The Hood”. A Celebration of Doug’s life will be held on Saturday December 17th, 2016 at the Royal Canadian Legion St.Vincent Street, Barrie (entrance off of Ferris Lane) from 1 – 5 p.m. Thank you everyone for all of your wonderful care and compassion.
