Fisher, Percy E.

(Veteran of WW II) Passed away peacefully on Friday November 6th, 2015 at Serenity Assisted Living Residence. Percy Fisher in his 93rd year, loving husband of 64 years to Mary. Proud father of Fern (Jack) Haughton, Carson (Heather) Fisher and Orville (Cathy) Fisher and the late Roy Fisher. Cherished grandfather of Callie, Samantha, Randi, Carla, Mark and Michael (Emily) and great grandfather of Blair and McKinley. Also adopted grandfather of Shelby Gray. Percy will also be fondly remembered by his nieces Hazel and Helen and nephew Jim and his “best friend” Katie Predeceased by his brothers Roy, Elwood and Harry and a sister Velma as well as a nephew John. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 o’clock Tuesday November 10th, 2015. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. Memorial donations to the C.N.I.B. or Veterans Assistance Program would be appreciated by the family.
