Sadly we announce the passing of Joan English, 85 of Barrie, Ontario. On October 14, 2016 Joan lost her courageous battle with lung cancer at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie. She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband, and best friend Frank English and her son Daniel English. Her son Thomas English, and daughter Lorri Pulford survive Joan. She is the dear Mother in law of Nancy English and Joseph Pulford, and the cherished Grandmother of Mathew, Kathy, Nick, Ashley, Adam, Melissa, Justin and Mitchell. She was the proud Great Grandmother of Hailey, Bryce, Dyre, Bentley and Claire. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at daughter’s home on October 23, 2016. In lieu of flowers the family ask that people consider donating to Hospice Simcoe.
