Passed away peacefully at Owen Hill Care Community, Barrie, on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Ross Elliott. Dear mother of Reg, Doug (Debbie), and Greg (Donna). Proud Grandma of Luke (Tammy), Casey (Cam), Christy (Billy), Stephen, Chris (Amanda) and Kevin. Great Grandma of Madison, Zachary, Tia, Taylor, Hunter and Zoe. Predeceased by her brothers Sam, Peter and Gerald. Sadly missed by many other dear family members and friends.
Millie was a teacher’s assistant for many years in Toronto and Brockville. She was an active member of Collier Street United Church in Barrie and will be greatly missed. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 12pm until the time we celebrate her life in the chapel at 1pm. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Millie’s memory may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
