DUNN, Beryl

Beryl Katherine Dunn, nee O'Brien, born February 20, 1924, died peacefully at IOOF on November 8, 2018, in her 95th year. She was predeceased by her parents, William Edward and Katy O'Brien and her sister Constance of Copper Cliff, and her husband, Malcolm (Mac)Thomas Dunn, who passed away in Meaford in 2000.

Beryl was a Registered Nurse who worked in the Copper Cliff and Sudbury hospitals, but her greatest passion was her family, daughter Sandra, her husband Ian Thurston and their daughter Jennifer, and sons David, his partner Rob Caron, and Donald Dunn. She is also survived by her sister Helen Hartt in Orillia.

Music and nature sustained Beryl in her later, quiet years at IOOF. We are grateful to the care she received from many wonderful staff at IOOF. Donations can be made in her memory to IOOF Seniors Homes, 10 Brooks Street, Barrie, or to the World Wildlife Fund Canada.
