Passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Thursday, December 21st, 2017 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband Norman. Loving mother of Anne Spicer (Ray), Patricia Ropell (Brian), John (Heather) and Patrick (Shirley). Will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, December 22nd, 2017 from 7-9 pm, with a Funeral Mass being held at St. Mary’s Church, 78 Amelia St., Barrie on Saturday, December 23rd at 10 am. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Parish Hall. Interment will be scheduled at Barrie Union Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
