With sadness we announce the passing of Pat Dhillon on April 1, 2018 in her 87th year. Loving and devoted wife to Raghbir “Dill” (pre-deceased). Beloved mother to Robin (Susan) and Cheryl (Peter). Cherished grandmother to Nyssa (Chris), great-grandmother to Arya, and step-grandmother to Philip and Jessica. She will also be greatly missed by her family and friends in Canada, England, and India.
Born in Wolverhampton, England, Pat was the youngest of seven children. She developed her interest in antique jewellery alongside her father and brothers, who were watchmakers. Together with Dill, Pat raised her family in England, India, and Montreal. Years later in Toronto, she was the proud owner of Pat Dillon Antiques, which operated out of Harbourfront Antique Market, Antiques on King, and then as her own shop specializing in fine jewellery and silver.
Thank you to the staff at Amica at Barrie for their outstanding compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Monday, April 9, 2018, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception in the Lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated.
