Passed away suddenly, after a short illness at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Les. Loving daughter of Evelyn. Dear mother of Greg (Kristine) and the late Carolle. Loving grandmother of Keifer. Survived by her sisters, Irene, Joanne, brother Ted (Brenda) and brother-in-law Ed (Lee). Elva will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #147 (410 St. Vincent Street, Barrie) on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society through the JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie.
