DAVERVELD, Gertruda "Trudy"

Passed peacefully with family by her side at Woods Park Care Centre, Barrie on Friday, March 16th, 2018 at the age of 88. Predeceased in 2017 by William, her loving husband of 63 years. Dear mother of Wilma Hurtubise (Al), Joanne Dumond (Mike), Bill, Ron (Sylvia) and Shirley Beamish (Dan). Proud Grandma of Brad, Kevin, Sara, Tina, Brianna, Sawyer, Sara S. and great grandma of Brooklyn, Bryce and Theo. Always remembered by many family members in Holland. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 for visitation from 7 to 9pm. Service will take place the following day, Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 at St. John Vianney Parish, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie, starting at 10am, followed by a reception luncheon (location to be confirmed). Cremation to follow.
