CROSSON, Jean Paterson (nee Munnoch)

(April 28, 1919 – February 12, 2018) - Passed into God’s care surrounded by love in her home. Mom shared compassion, love and the joy of living with all her family and friends. Her loving spirit drew people to her. She had the profound gift of listening. Predeceased by her husband John Crosson, parents, Rebecca Paterson Chirry and Andrew Munnoch, her brothers Andrew (Drew) and William (Bill) and her son William (Bill).

Lovingly remembered by her son Richard (Bonnie) and daughter Cathy (Rheal), daughter-in-law Laurie, grandchildren Tori (Chris), Tammie (Steve), Jeff (Monica), Ted, Aline (Mark), Jeremy (Meaghan), JT and Will, great-grandchildren Liam, Lucas, Robert, Jacqueline, Kailen, Briley, Emerie, Tessa, Arnica, Andrew, Aaron, Austin and Avery. Special Nana to Sarah, Virginia, Emily and Jaclyn. Special life-long friend of Muriel Wolf, who lovingly shared laughs and cared selflessly for Jean. Grenfel United Church congregation and all those who thought of her as Mom have memories to treasure.

A memorial service with reception to follow will be held at Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Sunday February 18 starting at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be to Grenfel United Church or the charity of your choice and are greatly appreciated.
