(January 22, 1951 - July 22, 2019) - Passed away suddenly on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the age of 68. Loving husband of Lynn Gilmore. Cherished father of Bob Cowie (Laura) and Dan Cowie (Vicky). Proud grandfather of Owenn, Emma & Jaxson. Bill will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie) on Friday from 2-5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (65 Amelia Street, Barrie) on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10 o’clock a.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Cystic Fibrosis, MS Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Chalice would be appreciated.
