Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2017at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie at the age of 70. Loving husband of Elizabeth for 24 years. Caring father of the late Joanna. Loved brother of the late Ernest Bruce Cowden, Norma Edwards (Bruce), and Keith Cowden (Karen Clarke). Dear brother-in-law to Pat Cowden (Bill Sheffield), the late Jane Cowden, Marshall Aikens (Debbie), David Aikens (Donna) and Elaine Moll. Dear uncle to Kevin Cowden (Anne), Doug Edwards, Dean Edwards (Louise), Kim Campbell, Jennifer Applegate (Drew), Mike Cowden (Ashlea), Keri Bradley (Craig), Mike Aikens (Shannon), Christine Aikens (Dayne), Simon Moll, Stanley Moll (Rachel) and many great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME (445 St. Vincent Street Barrie) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11 o’clock a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. Memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe or Seasons Centre for Grieving Children would be appreciated.
