(August 13 1925 – March 5 2018) - Dawn passed away peacefully at the age of 92 surrounded by family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She had a very happy and loving marriage to the late John Edward Cooper for over 65 years. Dawn’s greatest joy in life was her family and was cherished by her 4 children Lyle, Jan, Tracy and Kate. As her children grew so did her family with the welcome addition of grandchildren, Wayne (Christine), Norman (Sarah), Eric and Colin. In the years that followed Dawn welcomed the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Hayden and Keith. Pre-deceased by her parents Winifred M. Hind and Albert E. Gillham. Friends and well-wishers are welcome to join the family on Saturday, March 17th 2018 for a celebration of Dawn’s life at the JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. with a few words to be spoken by family at 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
