We are extremely saddened to announce that on March 18, 2016, we lost a great man. Bruce James Clark was the cherished husband of Betty (Crawford) for 50 precious years. He was the very proud father of Cynthia Seebach and husband Timothy of Mississauga as well as Karyn Clark of Ottawa. Grandaughter Evelyn Seebach was the ultimate gift of joy and adoration as he watched her mature into a lovely young girl. He was larger than life with his entertaining and slightly enhanced story telling of his rich life experiences - big and small - and his students, friends and family loved to listen and share. Bruce had a long and rewarding career as a Geography Teacher at Barrie Central Collegiate where he also took great pride in coaching the football team to many glorious victories, though his real goal was that all players participate and enjoy the game and with the understanding that he was teaching young men more than football drills. At his request, a private celebration of his life has taken place, with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Cancer Care Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
