CASTLEDINE, Isabell

Isabell Marjorie Castledine passed away peacefully, at Collingwood Marine Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, December 8, 2017, at the age of 63. Isabell was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on May 18, 1954. Beloved daughter of Marjorie Owen, and the late Horace Owen. Dearly loved wife of John Castledine who will miss his “sweet Dizzy Izzy”. She will be missed for her outgoing personality, loving nature and her many shenanigans. Much loved mother of Karen Sutor (Paul), Grant Castledine (Jeanette) and Angela Wilkinson (Brad). Stepmother to Barbara Castledine and the late Wendy Castledine. Grandmother to Corey, Chris, Tyler, Caylin, the late Brandon, Dustin, Emma, Dale, Braden, Liam, Ty, Tia, Tiffanie and Chris. Great-Grandmother to Finnian and Carter.

She will be sadly missed by her brother and sisters in-law, Ruth Castledine, Wilma Campbell (Steve), James Castledine and the late Ada & Bill Castledine. Also, mourning her loss is her favourite brother-in-law Peter Campbell, along with her nieces and nephews Chad, Josie, David, and Melissa. Isabell will be missed by her many friends, whom she loved spending time with. An honorable mention, to the people who gave her life, the late Monica McInnis and the late John (Jackie) Martin. She loved her large Martin family very much.

A celebration of life for Isabell will be held at the Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, ON on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Visitation is from 11:00 to 12:00 and the celebration of life service is from 12:00 to 1:00. Reception to follow. Isabell was a down-to-earth person, casual attire is welcome. She would have wanted it that way. We would like to thank Creedon Valley Care Community for their care, friendship and love! In lieu of flower the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Alzheimer’s Society.
