Peacefully at Coleman Care Centre, Barrie, on Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Edward “Ted” Cartwright. Honoured mother of Terry Cartwright (Karen), Wendy Grafe (Bernie), Cindy Goodlad (Joe) and of the late Wanda Hyland (George). Will be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Mary Hughes and brother Bert Kirkham. A celebration of Jean’s life will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 1 – 3 PM in the lower lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
