BRYANT, A. John

Passed away at home with his family on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the age of 86. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Tessa (Hughes) Bryant, his daughter Jane (Bryant) Salmon and her husband Paul Salmon, his son Graham Bryant and his wife Patricia (Ferguson) Bryant, and his grandchildren Robin Salmon, Marlow Salmon, Brittany Bryant, and Nathan Bryant. Born in 1931 in Surrey, England to Alfred Bryant and Rose (Rowland) Bryant, John leaves behind his brother Michael and sister Ruth. Mr. Bryant emigrated to Canada in 1964 with his family and became a Canadian citizen in 1977. Active in the tennis and lawn bowling community, John will be dearly missed by friends and family. A closed celebration of life will be held by family in his honour. The family gratefully thanks staff and friends at Amica at Barrie for their amazing support and care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the O.S.P.C.A. or Medecins sans frontiers.
