Passed peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the age of 84. Loving sister of Richard, Phyllis Grisdale and Vicky, and sister-in-law to Mary. Will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, especially James and Carolyn. Nora led a very complete life, remaining actively involved with charities and groups such as CARP, Act II Studio and her Scottish dancing. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 11 am until the time we celebrate Nora’s life in the Chapel at 1 pm. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nora’s memory may be made to CARP or the RVH Cancer Care Centre and are greatly appreciated by the family.
