Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Friday, June 7, 2019 surrounded by loving family.
Linda Bowen at the age of 69, loving wife for 50 years to Glenn Bowen. Cherished mother of David (Melanie) Bowen, Jeremy (Kelly) Bowen and Amber (Andrew) Currie. Proud Granny of Robert (Kelsey), Steven, Emma, Marley, Carson and Ava. Linda will be forever remembered by her sisters Rita Henkel and Kate Watson, as well as her sister in-law Phyllis Schaefer and brother in-law Geoff Bowen. Predeceased by her parents, Russell and Martha Watson, brothers David and Brian Watson and mother and father in-law Florence and Harold Bowen. Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews and friend to many in Minesing and surrounding communities.
Friends and family will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 11 o’clock.
A private family interment will be held in Minesing Union Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to Minesing United Church or Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family.
