BLIGHT, Gregory Allen

Passed away suddenly at his home in Oro on Monday, May 2nd, 2016. Greg Blight in his  52nd year was the beloved husband of Josée (nee Lessard). Dear father of Kyle & his wife Meaghan of Arkona, Nicole & her fiancé Bob Charters of Barrie and Spencer also of Barrie. Loving grandfather of Jake and Cole. Cherished son of Al & Gail Blight of Oro and son-in-law of Richard & Diane Lessard of Barrie. He will be sadly missed by his sister Deb Watson & her husband Glenn of Barrie. Loving Uncle of Josh (Natalie) and Jordan (Mallory). Greg will be also sadly missed by his aunts, uncles & cousins and by his furry children Elliott, Henry, Minou, Tigs, Bobby, Eleanor and Itsy. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering at the JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Saturday, May 7th between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. In respect of Greg’s wishes, there will be no formal service but rather an opportunity to share your memories with the family. As an expression of sympathy the family have requested that memorial donations be made to Street Cats Animal Rescue or to an animal rescue of your choice.
