BINNIE, June

Passed peacefully at Grove Park Home on Thursday, February 15th, 2018 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Elwood Binnie. Dear mother of the late Gord (Joan), Barry (Michele), and Gary (Cari). Loving grandmother of Amanda (Dave), Jeffrey (Marci), Ryan, Kristen, Jason, Tyler, Courtney and great-grandmother of Alysha, Kayla, Wesley and Jaylen. Dear sister of Doris (the late Garfield) and predeceased by her brothers Howard, Jack and Eldon McQueen. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 from 7-9 pm and on Friday, February 23rd from 11 am until the time we celebrate June’s life in the Chapel at 1 pm. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge. Interment to follow in the Spring at Minesing Union Cemetery. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. McTurk and to all the staff at Grove Park Home (especially the Aspen unit) for the exceptional care provided to June and her family. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Grove Park Home would be greatly appreciated.
