Suddenly but peacefully passed at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Friday, May 17th, 2019 at the age of 65, just a few days short of her 66th birthday.
Beloved wife of John for 47 years. Loving mother of Diana (Aaron) and Roslyn (Shawn). Proud Grandmother of Brianna, Lily, Trenton and Harry. Dear sister of Barry (Theresa), Sandra, Beverly (Alan), Lori (Bob), Lyle (Wendy) and sister-in-law of Sherry. Loving sister of the late Grant. Will be missed by many other extended family members and friends.
Jill was a community volunteer for the Anonymous Angels and a member of the St. George's Anglican Church in Utopia. She will be greatly missed by her friends in the quilting community.
Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 from 6-7 p.m., with service being held on Wednesday, May 22nd at 2 p.m. inside the Chapel. Reception to follow inside the lower lounge.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jill’s memory may be made to Sleeping Children Around the World or to St. Georges Anglican Church in Utopia and are greatly appreciated by the family.
