BARNEY, Thomas 'Tom'

After a courageous battle, Tom passed peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019 at the age of 68. Loving and devoted husband of the late Mary Catherine (2010). Honoured father of Michael (Rebecca), David (Sara) and Andrea. Proud “Poppa B.” of Madison, Brayden, Jack, Carter and Ryan. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Gladys Barney. Will be sadly missed by his brother David (Rosemary), Glenn, Douglas (late Carol) and Mark (Susan). Cremation has taken place, with services entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. If so desired, donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Hospice Simcoe.
