Dora was born on November 2, 1935 in Uithuizen, Groningen Holland. She was the 2nd of seven children.
Dora was a devoted wife to her late husband Bill. Stepmother to Bill (Shirley) and Rob (Laura). Grandchildren Gregory, Philip, Meredith and Jennifer. She was sister to John (Shirley deceased), Henry (Susan), Cor, Johanna/Jean Greer (Irvin), Ron deceased and Trudy Matthews (Paul). Beloved Godmother to Jason, Regan and Mark. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Devoted to her faith which never wavered throughout all the struggles and illnesses life threw at her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 2-4pm at the Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at St. Mary’s Parish, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie, at 10am. Interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
