Unexpectedly after a short battle with cancer, Steve passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on June 17, 2018 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Sharron and love of her life. Dear son of Stew and Marion Bannerman. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Jane Bannerman. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Saturday June 23, from 10:30 am until the time we celebrate his life in the chapel starting at 12 pm. A reception will follow. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donation’s in Steve’s memory may be to Hospice Simcoe or the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated.
