Peacefully passed with family by her side at the Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 in her 102th year. Loving wife of the late Wesley (1975). Beloved mother of Jim (Marjorie), Bryan (Linda), Lorraine MacDonald (Earl) and mother-in-law of Mercedes (the late Douglas). Proud grandmother of Brenda, Dave, Todd, Mark, Scott, Kimberly, Sandra, Heather, Danielle, Connel, and Brett. Great grandmother to 11 and great-great grandmother to 2. Dear sister of the late Jim Mayne. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, July 26th, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and on Saturday, July 27th, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service inside the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Reception inside the Lower Lounge. Burial to follow at the Stayner Union Cemetery, 7661 Hwy. 26, Stayner. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe and are greatly appreciated by the family.
