Passed away peacefully at Woods Park Care Centre in Barrie at the age of 99 on November 23rd 2018. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Baker, Margaret is survived by her daughters Sharon, Charlene and Heather (Blaine). She was predeceased by her daughter, Valerie and her son, David. 
Margaret was a devoted Grandmother to twelve grandchildren and Great-Grandmother to twenty-four great-grandchildren. Margaret was a much loved sister -in-law to Annie Pauls and Mabel Baker. She was a dear Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. 
Margaret was born in Markham, Ontario on June 22, 1919 to Mildred and Charles Lilley. She shared her parents with her older brother Harry and younger brother Jack. 
Margaret was a sixty year member of Hawkestone Womens Institute and an active member of Hawkestone United Church. She was also a charter member of Oro Horticultural Society. 
During her lifetime, Margaret, with her husband Bill operated a successful dairy farm in Oro. 
In retirement they built their own house and renovated another one. 
She always had sewing and knitting on the go and was also ready to welcome family and friends with a home-cooked meal or lend a hand at a church supper. 
In retirement she was able to do some travelling within Canada and USA. 
At Margaret's request cremation has occurred and there will be no service. 
A celebration of life will be held at a future time. 
Her family would like to thank the special staff at Woods Park who have loved and cared for her in her final years.
