Passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Saturday February 6, 2016. Albert Atkins of Barrie in his 89th year was the beloved husband of the late Nina (nee Brunelle). Dear father of Larry (Aprile) of Beamsville, Alan (Vaike Rosalea) of Barrie, Keith (Cathy) of Burlington, Deborah Atkins (Terry) of Hamilton, David (Susan) of Louisdale, Cape Breton, NS and Andrew of Toronto. Loving grandfather of 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Dorothy Garant (Red) and Mary Leese both of Windsor. Pre-deceased by sisters Dorothy Garant and Dolores Ciotti. Friends may call at the Jennett Funeral & Cremation Centre 152 Bradford St. in Barrie on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at the St. John Vianney Church (13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie) on Thursday February 11th at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation.
