Passed peacefully at Grove Park Home on August 28, 2016. John Ashcroft of Angus in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Jean H. Scase. Dear father of Barbara (Len) Hawton of Barrie. Loving grandfather of Troy Hawton of Angus. Brother of June Latimer (Ray) and Murray Rose (the late Shirley). Friends and family will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on September 1, 2016 for a Celebration of Life starting at 2pm. Visitation from 1pm.
