Beloved wife of Colin, mother of Fiona and Duncan, loving grandmother of Abi, Riley and Cameron, died peacefully in Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario after battling a lengthy illness 24 December, 2015. Amber was known for her infinite compassion, particularly for animals, her great humour and quick brain, as well as always being ready to speak her mind. The family would like to thank all the friends and neighbours who supported her. Cremation has taken place and there will be a joint Buddhist-Christian ceremony at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie ON.
