Peacefully passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Friday May 5th, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Alexander and loving companion of Jim Robinson for the last 10 years. Dear mother of Denis Clavette and Anne Plant (Peter). Fern will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews in Quebec. Sadly missed by many of Jim Robinson’s family. Proud Nana of Tyler, Michelle, and Crystal. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday May 10, from 10am until the time we celebrate her life in the chapel at 11am. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers donations in Fern’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated.
