It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that Wendy & Susan announce our younger brother's passing after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
With family by his side, Richard left us on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
The youngest son of the late Ernie & Irene Adams, Richard leaves behind his loving sisters to mourn and celebrate his life: Susan Hopkins (Sheri, Will, Tracey, Angela, Jaclyn), Wendy (Peter) Varcoe (Ashley, Amanda, Jillian).
As well as his brother Bob (Elaine) Adams (Cindy, Christine, Tiffany, Brandy).
Richard leaves behind his extended family: Linda Isherwood and family, and Deb Micks.
He will be so lovingly remembered by a slew of great nieces and great nephews; many of whom enjoyed time at Uncle's "Paradise" on Sand Lake.
Richard leaves wonderful memories with many dear friends worldwide. As our brother wished, immediate cremation has taken place, with inurnment to occur at a later date.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. Shaver and Dr. Malik who were always there for Richard, and to the nursing angels and staff of the Cancer Palliative Unit at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.
